NEW WORLD CHECK POINT

The New World shopping centre was completed in 2016 with the first New World store for Whangaparaoa opened in December 2015 in time for Christmas with the balance of the development completed shortly thereafter.

Formerly farmland and with the growth of the population of the Peninsula this area was later the site of a Placemakers home renovation and building centre and a small industrial complex including a large panel beating shop. 

This shopping centre is always buzzing with a wide selection of local businesses including cafes, restaurants, takeaways, a gym, hairdresser, medical centre and more for Stanmore Bay locals to enjoy.
