Kate Hursthouse
Kate Hursthouse is a practising artist and trainee Creative Arts Therapist who combines over a decade of creative experience with a growing therapeutic practice centred on inclusion and wellbeing. Her work spans community murals, book illustrations, design, children’s art education, and one-to-one creative support for people with diverse abilities. She has exhibited across New Zealand and internationally. Kate is also the founder and creator of the Te Atatū Walls Mural Project and the Creative Mother Podcast. Guided by empathy, curiosity, and creative process, Kate seeks to make art accessible as a tool for expression, connection, and growth.
