CLOCK TOWER AND ROTUNDA
The Gulf Harbour Marine Village canal comprises approximately 850 metres of waterways which were constructed mainly in the dry with the concept of a canal and marina development in the pipeline after the sale of the land in the 1970's.
Gulf Harbour Village development was part of a larger planned community on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula.

HISTORY
With the land first cleared in the 1860's for farming by Ranulph Dacre and then owned by the Shakespear family, the land was eventually aquired by Jack Hobbs who was a farm manager for the Shakespears.
