Hibiscus Coast Zero Waste is a Community Enterprise dedicated to promoting Zero Waste throughout the Hibiscus & Bays Local Board. HCZW runs the the City to Farm Food Cycle Project to divert commercial food scraps from landfill. HCZQ also manages the Whangaparaoa Community Recycling Centre on behalf of Auckland Council.

Love Soups mission is to rescue food and distribute this to organisations that help people in need. They have weekly meals at Whangaparaoa Hall and everyone is welcome. They provide meals to the needy without judgement as to the current situation of any guests and visitors.

It is about knowing how to contact each other should you need help or advice. NS strengthens community spirit, minimises crime, enables people to share information, ideas & insights & helps us support each other in times of need. NS aims to make our homes, streets, neighbourhoods & communities a safer & more caring places in which to live.

The Hope Shop is your local second hand boutique, selling upcycled second hand clothing, shoes and accessories. W are motivated by our desire to support youth in our community on the Hibiscus Coast. 100% of proceeds raised by The Hope Shop go directly back into the community, supporting Youth In Transitions 'Journey Back to Awesome' Programme, providing free counselling to at risk youth.
