If you want to create a newsletter -
- Go to Contacts CRM | Campaigns
- The easiest way is to just duplicate an existing newsletter - to do this click on the arrow to the left of the name and you'll see an option to duplicate
- Then open your duplicate copy and first change the name at the top then you can change your content
- Otherwise you can create a new campaign from the blue button, top right
- Once in your newsletter if you're editing current contact just click on it and you get the edit bar options
- To add new content either use the + in the top left or hover between the two blocks where you want to put the content and a + will appear
- To move blocks up and down click on it and in the toolbar you'll have an option with an up and down arrow on top of each other
- In the right column you have a few options on block styling also
- Once you are ready click the blue "Continue (subject and settings) to first enter your email title and pre-header
- From here it is often a good idea to send a test email to check your links, spacing, spelling, dates, etc
- If you need to put more space around an image (often need to do) add a spacer which is an option under +
- If you want to search for something in the options just start typing in the search bar and all options will appear
- Once you are satisfied with your newsletter continue to next step
- Select who you want the email to go to. You can do by Lists, Tags, both or to really customise use an advanced filter and you can also exclude contacts on certain Lists or Tags
- Continue and you will get a summary of your campaign where you can edit any field again
- Then either send or you can schedule the campaign to go at a day and time of your choice
