New Member CHECKLIST – Get the best out of your Membership
A checklist for new members, on the tasks that can be completed to get the most out of your membership.
Complete your Membership Agreement form online Here if not already done for you. Keep in mind in this you may want to include -
- Tag Line [if you want to include it
- Company Name
- Preferred number for customers to contact your business
- Preferred email address for customers to contact your business (this may be different to the email you submit as the contact for us)
- Any social page links you’d like us to share
- Blurb [what customers will see when they click on your directory listing – approx. 30 words]
- Area you service
- Your price range if relevant

Pay your Membership invoice. Our Treasurer will send this to you.
Alternatively, if you are happy for us to take the above information from your website or Facebook page please let our Manager know and they will upload on site for your approval.

- Update your work Social Media to share you are a new member:
- As an exclusive member benefit you can share your business posts across the Business Whangaparaoa Facebook Group. Please keep these to no more than 1 per week (Note: Posts need to go through the approval process before they are public)
- Look at the BW website and please support the other members with your business
- Check our Member 2 Member specials. Take advantage of these Member exclusive offers and give us a special from your business we can add on this page, to your listing and promote for you
- We will add you to our mailing list and send you invites and our newsletter. Make sure you come along to our local events and attend our keynote speaker events (50% discount to members) to share your business and network with other members
- Provide us with a handful of business cards and any brochures so we can display them at our key events. Note we display all member cards and brochures at all major events, even if you are unable to attend. We are happy to pick these up, contact our Manager on email info@businesswhangaparaoa.co.nz
