Wednesday 21 February - Meet Greg Ward - Moments that Matter

Covid broke all the rules of the events and conference game, and when the phone calls started on 13th March 2020, with cancellation after cancellation, the future for Peakward Ltd, Stanmore Bay-based speaking, performance, and event business, looked bleak. 

But they’d come too far to give up.  Starting again from zero, Greg, with his 50% shareholder wife Linda, reimagined and set the stage for the rebuild of their business in the space of 3 weeks from the first lockdown.  A few short years later they have continued to go from strength to strength with a rising amount of turnover sourced from across the Tasman.

But the story didn’t start with Covid.  Greg Ward shares his highs and lows across multiple industries and business, within New Zealand and further afield in our first get-together of the year. 

Greg spoke very well as you would expect from an MC and entertainer! He emphasised the importance of being in the moment and appreciating the way things can turn out, often when you least expect it.

Moments that Matter explores resilience, innovation, and the entrepreneur spirit, and offers an inspiring start to 2024.

It was a very entertaining and inspiring morning topped off by yet another beautiful Red Beach sunrise.
